When my son was born four years ago, it became clear very quickly that he was a sensitive soul who needed me close, especially at night. I tried all the things, but nothing "worked", and I constantly felt like I was failing. Learning the truth about normal infant sleep and the best ways to nurture my baby got me through and I want to be that support for you!
I'm a Certified Holistic Sleep Coach trained by Dr. Lyndsey Hookway and a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner trained by neuroscientists Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum and Dr. Rocio Zunini. Together these give me a deep, evidence-based understanding of how responsive parenting shapes your baby's developing stress system, and how to support your whole family's sleep in a way that honors everyone's needs. I've used these same approaches in my own family as a working mom, so I know they work in real life, not just in theory.

Before working with Sharon, I was feeling very conflicted about whether or not I should sleep train my second child. With an older child I didn't have the time to spend with a long night routine but also I didn't want to let her cry it out.
Sharon helped me understand that there was a different, third option, one where I could get my baby the sleep she needed by adjusting our routine and paying closer attention to her tired signs. Sharon was amazing with providing evidence based education on how to support our son in not only getting the best sleep he can but also feeling connected and loved while doing so. One of my biggest fears coming into doing any sort of sleep improvement program was that I would be told to cut my son off when he was struggling or just let him “cry it out.” Sharon did the opposite, instead discussing the necessity of co-regulation at his age (2 and a half), while also helping me understand his developmental needs and what to expect over the next few years.
Our son’s nighttime routine and sleep habits have improved. Since working with Sharon we have become more aware of his tired cues and have implemented a more consistent routine that includes soothing activities prior to bed and a shorter nap time during the day and, as a result, bedtime has become a lot smoother!
